About Paul...

Paul started his career in 2006 when he was accepted onto Ferrari's first Apprenticeship scheme.

After qualifying in 2010, Paul built up an extensive knowledge of Ferrari and Maserati servicing, repairs and diagnostics.

Over the years, he had a great working relationship with the whole team at Ferrari North Europe by attending numerous training courses at FNE Headquarters in Slough. It is due to the numerous courses he attended, that he achieved Ferrari Master Technician status*.

In 2017, he furthered his qualifications by attending a course in Maranello, Italy which certified him as a Ferrari High Voltage technician. Thus, enabling him to work on the LaFerrari** and other High Voltage Ferrari's (SF90 & 296).

In this time, he also became a qualified MOT tester.

His role as Master Tech allowed him the opportunity to attend various press/media events and customer drive days all over the UK, where his primary role was to provide technical assistance. In addition to this, he also attended the 488 Challenge Series in 2019.

Given his extensive knowledge, understanding and expertise gained over 16 years, he naturally gravitated to the role of Workshop Controller in 2021, whilst still trouble shooting as Master Technician. This role involved running the full specialist workshop which included Ferarri, Maserati, Bentley and Lamborghini and leading and organising a team of 10 Technicians and 2 Apprentices.

Having worked for 16 years at the main dealer, Graypaul Edinburgh, it had always been a dream to one day start up his own business and in 2022, Paul took the plunge with a vision to provide customers with the best experience possible using his unrivalled knowledge and expertise in this field. Thus making The Supercar Tech the go-to independent specialist in Scotland

*As at Sept 2022, Paul still remains the only Ferrari Master Technician in Scotland.

** As at Sept 2022, Paul is the only certified technician, in Scotland, to be able to work on LaFerrari.
